“Real American Heroes” Pubcrawl has been postponed this Saturday due to “unforseen consequences”. Here is the e-mail I received:
Due to an unforeseeable conflict Orlando Pub Crawl was forced to postpone the Real American Hero Pub Crawl on 9/11/09. Those who purchased advance tickets will get a refund.
Please remember that we will let OPC crawlers know when the real American Heroes Pub Crawl will be rescheduled.

Library Increases Happy Hour Price :(

Yeah i didn’t think it would ever happen either but last week Black Friday happened. Knight Library has raised their Happy Hour Special price by $2. Keaton why are you complaining about $5 cover for unlimited beer in 16oz cups? Woah Woah I am not trying to complain at all. I’m there every Friday no matter the price. Library could actually have a legitimate reason for the price increase (though I do not know it), but after the many years of attending Happy Hour it was a price that had always stayed consistent unlike other bars. With the ever increasing job loss numbers students financial hardships are increasing. We do still always have money for drinking, but the money for tipping is decreasing dramatically. I saw it and the bartenders probably felt it last Friday.
